Elizabeth Montgomery (of Bewitched fame) stars in this film based on the real events which occured in New England in the late 1800s. Lizzie Borden took an axe, and gave her mother 40 wacks. When she felt her work was done, she gave her father 41. This film explores the murders and the trial which followed. Highly recommended for enthusiasts of real-life crimes. This version of the film is the European release, slightly different from the version which aired on US television in the 70s. Quality varies between 3 & 4 stars, but have given a 3 star to be on the safe side. NTSC, Fullscreen, English Language, Film Only, 1 hour 32 mins
